🚨 Back in Munich: Preparing for Our Biggest, Boldest, and Best Hackathon

Fostering Defense Innovation for European Sovereignty

In 2024, we gathered 400+ participants who pursued 80+ projects and 100+ challenges at our three major European Defense Tech Hackathons in MunichCopenhagen, and Paris.

We expect the Munich hackathon to become our biggest, boldest, and best hackathon so far. We have 200+ participants registered on Luma already, and the level of talent is stunning. It's our first 48-hour hackathon, so the teams will be able to make even more progress this time. And since it's parallel to the Munich Security Conference, we expect a lot of spillover effects, high-profile visitors, and press and media coverage—one article has already been published by Tagesspiegel (German only)

We will focus on a broad range of challenges including counter-drone solutions, electronic warfare, AI for defense, navigation in GNSS-denied environments, or demining. And we’re not doing this alone, but together with a strong set of partners, which we just announced on LinkedIn.

We're very excited to have Helsing on board again as a key partner, supporting us long-term across several hackathons and especially for making the Munich hackathon a banger.

We also welcome General Catalyst and Quantum Systems, long-term supporters of ours and strong partners for the Munich hackathon.

And we are excited to partner with many others, including DefSecIntel Solutions, Eyeson, Nordic Air Defence, Magnetic Capital, HIGHCAT as well as the Bundeswehr Cyber Innovation Hub, BRAVE1, and the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense.

Finally, a huge thanks to our co-organizers TUM Venture Labs Aerospace, Inflection.xyz, and DroneAid Collective for helping us hands-on in making this event happen!

Finally, we’re planning our first Berlin defense tech meetup together with the Bundeswehr Cyber Innovation Hub on March 6, 2025:

New Long-Term Partner: Quantum Systems

Last but not least, we're thrilled to welcome Quantum Systems as a long-term partner!

From our first Munich hackathon last June, they've been a constant supporter, be it organizing a defense tech meetup in Berlin or providing top-notch mentorship at our Paris hackathon. We’re thrilled that they’re helping us to bring the Munich hackathon and even more hackathons to life throughout 2025 🛠️

A huge thank you to Matthias Lehna, Kyrylo K, and the entire Quantum Systems team for your unwavering support and belief in what we're building
